My love for music has no limits from Reggae, Soul, Pop, Rap and the rest. My show is from the era when Rap was getting the exposure to the world from the USA artist mainstream from the 1990 into the 2000’s. My Old Skool Rap Show with (Dr Kray) is every Tuesday 9pm till 11 pm and with strong content, is not recommended for under 16’s.
I’m also a DJ and artist myself, here’s a little about me as an artist….
Hoggie Dogg aka Dr Kray born1974 South London Brixton, a product of the inner city of London heart, soul, and mind.
Everyday experience of my life. is expressed in my vocals and music with influences from reggae, soul, jazz, House, Rap, and Pop.
Artists who inspired me are Bob Marley, Buju Banton, the late Garnet Silk, Snoop Dogg, D.M.X, Nas, and the late 2pac.
I see myself as a poetic artist and not a rapper so check out my art. I’m different by the way, I deliver my craft and paint the inner city of London in simplified and easy listening. Everything is independent support and helps transform the art.
Thank you for listening
Hoggie Dogg a.k.a. Dr. Kray
I’m Chris Porter and I’m on Ridge Radio every Tuesday morning, 10am til midday.
My show is Reeling In the Years – looking back at a specific year in singles & albums chart history and the songs that made it memorable and that still sound great today, as well as a look at the current top 40 – a two hour sweep through the charts – the old and the new!
I’ve lived (and still live) in the borough of Tandridge and have always been passionate about my music. People tell me I have a very eclectic taste. I suppose that’s true but, specifically, biggest loves are rock, electronica, reggae, ska and soul.
I love sharing this with like-minded people and began doing that in my mobile DJ’ing days in and around the area from the early ‘80’s to 2000’s. I love it when great tracks bring people together, whether it’s a connection in the mind or in the dance floor – it’s there!
We all know a song that takes us straight back to a time, people, places, events. Music does that in a way that nothing else can and at Ridge Radio we celebrate it with our community.
We’re lucky to be able to celebrate this, with such a great mix of brilliant DJ’s having the freedom of choice to play the widest mix and variety of music, the mainstream to the downright and brilliantly obscure! It’s all here on Ridge Radio for us to share with you in and around the borough of Tandridge and … the world !
I’m very proud to be part of it ! Thanks @RidgeRadio
Join Perry on Wednesday from 3.00pm to 5.00pm.
For 2 hours of music and interviews on Ridge Radio
My name is Pramod Chotai (AKS Perry Chotai). I started broadcasting live on Ridge Radio from August 2023. My interest in Radio broadcasting goes back to 1978. I started broadcasting when I was at University on BBC Radio Leicester, then joined BBC radio Leicester as a station assistant, and continued to gain broadcasting experience at various hospital radio stations. In the 80’s when radio licensing authorities were issuing monthly licenses to broadcasters, I worked and helped establish Bollywood music stations in East London, Crystal Palace and Croydon. Between 1992 and 2011, I worked in Switzerland for Pharmaceutical Companies.
My musical interests include Jazz, funk, Motown, and Bollywood music. Currently I present Jazz, funk and Motown music between 3.00 pm and 5.00 pm on every Wednesday on Ridge Radio. However, my plan is to have a Bollywood slot. This would be the first station to broadcast Bollywood music officially on a station south of the river Thames. I am looking forward to that.
