On Saturday we opened the doors to our local listeners so they could come and visit the Ridge Radio Studio.

The event was from 10.00 am until 4.00 pm we are sorry if you missed it.
Many visitors were surprised that right on their doorstep there is a local radio station staffed by 42 volunteers.
The space used to be a nuclear bunker, decommissioned in the late 70’s but never used in anger, it would have sheltered the local counsellors when Soper Hall was the Caterham council offices.
Believe it on not it now makes a great sound proof radio station.
