Andrea has been in the broadcasting biz since the 90s, working as a showbiz reporter for Unique Broadcasting, World Entertainment News Network in Los Angeles and latterly IRN where she was their showbiz editor, reading news bulletins and reporting from numerous red-carpet events, including the Oscars and the Brits.

After a break from the microphone, she’s delighted to be back in the hot seat on Ridge Radio, and hopes you’ll become a regular listener to the Saturday morning Brunch with Andrea Oxlade.

Alex is a founding member of Ridge Radio, and the host of the our Saturday Morning Breakfast Show.

Alex hosted the Saturday Morning Breakfast Show between 2011-2018, before becoming co-DJ of Sunday Night Live 8-10pm with Dan Cottrell between 2019-2021. We are excited that he is returning to his Saturday morning slot that was his own for so many years. In the past he has also broadcast on Xpression FM Exeter and Meridian FM East Grinstead.

In addition to radio broadcasting, Alex enjoys acting and performing in local theatre. He regularly appears in shows at the Barn Theatre Oxted and at other theatres in the South East. barntheatreoxted.co.uk

After a 15 year hiatus from the music scene I am 4 years back into the journey I started in my teens. I am the Lead singer and guitarist for hard rock trio “Burning Chrome” and have started to organise charity gigs using local bands.

 

 

When I was offered the chance to come to Ridge Radio I thought it would be a great opportunity to catch up on some of the awesome rock and metal bands I have missed in my absence whilst sharing the journey with you. I will be asking for material from the many talented local bands as well so we can share and promote these amazing musicians.
